Draining the Power Steering System
- Replacing the power steering fluid is a two-stage process:1. Flush the old fluid from the power steering system using new fluid.
2. Bleed the power steering system in order to remove any trapped air.
- You may also use this procedure in cold climates, where temperatures are -12°C (10°F) or colder:
1. Flush the system.
2. Change the fluid.
3. Use Low Temperature Climate Service Fluid.
