Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.

General

Programmer Description:

The automatic A/C control head uses the following types of manual controls:
^ Push buttons provide control of the mode and the blower speeds.
^ Two rotary knobs can set the temperature.

In the automatic mode the temperature is set by the driver. A microprocessor uses this information to provide the desired temperature level. The driver can change the blower speed and mode selection at any time. The microprocessor continues to moderate the blower speed and temperature. Diagnostic testing is performed with a scan tool or through the DIC.
