Door Jamb Switches

The CTD system uses the door jamb switches in the door lock assembly as one method to activate the alarm. The Driver Door Module (DDM) monitors all door jamb switches via a class 2 input from the other door modules. If the rear integration module (RIM) receives a class 2 message from the DDM that a door is open and the CTD system is armed, RIM activates the alarm.
