Door Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the following subassemblies:
^ The door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door.
^ The door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement.
^ The water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Door Frame.
^ The window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replace-Rear Door Window Belt Inner.
^ The window channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Rear Door Front.
^ The window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement Rear Door.
^ The energy absorber pad. Refer to Energy Absorber Pad Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Outside.
^ The window run channel/stationary window. Refer to Window/Division Channel - Rear Door Stationary.
^ The reveal molding. Refer to Reveal Molding Replacement - Rear Door Window.
^ The weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The front auxiliary sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replace - Rear Door Front Auxiliary.
^ The bottom auxiliary sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replace - Rear Door Bottom Auxiliary.
^ The check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement - Rear.
^ The door. Refer to Door Removal - Rear.
^ The door hinges. Refer to Hinge Replacement Rear Door.
^ Remove the wiring harness clips (2) from the inner door panel.
^ Remove the rubber conduit and wiring harness (1) from the door.
^ Remove all the plastic nuts and retainers from the door shell.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install all the retainers into the door shell that were removed during disassembly.
2. Install the door wiring harness clips (2) to the inner door panel.
3. Route the wiring harness (1) and conduit into the door.
4. Install the following subassemblies:
^ The door hinges. Refer to Hinge Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The door. Refer to Door Removal - Rear.
^ The check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement - Rear.
^ The bottom auxiliary sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replace - Rear Door Bottom Auxiliary.
^ The front auxiliary sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replace - Rear Door Front Auxiliary.
^ The weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The reveal molding. Refer to Reveal Molding Replacement - Rear Door Window.
^ The window run channel/stationary window. Refer to Window/Division Channel - Rear Door Stationary.
^ The outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Outside.
^ The latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The energy absorber pad. Refer to Energy Absorber Pad Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The window channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Rear Door Front.

^ The garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Door Frame.
^ The water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door.
^ The door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement
^ The door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door.
5. Check the door for proper adjustment. Refer to Door Adjustment.
