Rear Compartment Lid Wiring Harness Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment lid trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement (Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement) .
3. Remove the electrical connector from the rear compartment lid latch.
4. Remove the electrical connector from the back up lamps.
5. Remove the electrical connector from the high mounted stoplamp.




6. Pull the wiring harness (2) to disengage the push in retainers (3) from the rear compartment lid (1).




7. Remove the left compartment hinge cover (1) to access the wiring harness (2).




8. Remove the clip (5) from the rear compartment lid hinge.
9. Pull the wiring harness (3) to disengage the push in retainers (4) from the rear compartment lid hinge.



Installation Procedure





1. Press the wiring harness (3) to engage the push in retainers (4) to the rear compartment lid hinge (2).




2. Install the left compartment hinge cover (1) to rear compartment lid hinge (2).




3. Press the wiring harness (2) to engage the push in retainers (3) to the rear compartment lid (1).
4. Install the electrical connector to the high mounted stoplamp.
5. Install the electrical connector to the back up lamp.
6. Install the electrical connector to the rear compartment lid latch.
7. Install the rear compartment lid trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement (Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement) .
8. Close the rear compartment lid.
