Power Sunroof Does Not Open to Express Position

An intermittent or poor connection can cause the express open feature of the sunroof not to operate. Refer to Testing for Intermittent and Poor Connections in Diagrams.

TEST DESCRIPTION
The steps below refer to the test steps in the diagnostic table.
5. Connect a 3 amp fused jumper to the open circuit and express open circuit of the Power Sunroof Slide Switch, then connect to ground circuit of the Power Sunroof Slide Switch for less than 1 second. If this procedure is not performed correctly, the express open command will not function.
6. Connect a 3 amp fused jumper to the open circuit and express open circuit of the Power Sunroof Slide Switch, then connect to ground for less than 1 second. If this procedure is not performed correctly, the express open command will not function.
