Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair

BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR REPLACEMENT - AUXILIARY

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Service Precautions Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Remove the right console accessory trim plate.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the blower resistor (2).
3. Remove the fasteners (1) that retain the auxiliary blower motor resistor (2).




4. Remove the auxiliary blower motor resistor from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the auxiliary blower motor resistor.




2. Install the auxiliary blower motor resistor fasteners (1).
3. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the auxiliary blower motor resistor (2).
4. Install the console trim plate.
