Blower Control Module Description
The [1][2]blower control module is a solid state device that operates the blower motor. The blower control module outputs a voltage that varies between 0 Volts when the blower motor is OFF and a maximum blower speed of 12 Volts. The [1][2]blower control module receives the requested blower speed from the Instrument Panel Module (IPM) in the form of a 5 Volt pulse modulated reference signal. When low speed is requested by the IPM, the pulse width is reduced. When high blower speed is requested, the pulse width is increased.
