Right Turn Signal

The right turn indicator may only be ON during RUN. The IPC illuminates the right turn indicator when the IPC detects a high (voltage) input condition from the right turn signal. The signal source comes from the exterior lighting system via a discrete input. The indicator turns OFF within 150 milliseconds after the cluster detects the high input is low.

If the IPC determines that the turn signal remains ON for more than 1.6 km (1 mile), the IPC also sends a class 2 serial data message requesting the chime to sound and displays the TURN SIGNAL ON message on the DIC.
