Trip Odometer

The trip odometer displays the accumulated miles or kilometers to the tenths of a mile or kilometer since the last reset. This value is stored in KAM of the IPC. The IPC has 2 trip odometers which can be selected by pressing the TRIP A/B button. The displayed trip odometer is reset on the IPC by pressing the TRIP RESET button. Both trip odometers accumulate miles or kilometers even when they are not displayed.

If a button is not used to reset the trip odometer, the display will roll-over automatically as follows. For vehicles sold in Europe, Canada, Japan, and the Gulf States, the trip odometer will roll-over at 1999.9 kilometers (1242.6 miles). For all other vehicles, the trip odometer will roll-over at 999.9 miles (1609.1 km).
