ENGLISH/METRIC SW.: Displays Off or On. The status of the discrete ENG/MET switch signal. The instrument cluster uses this input to determine the units of the instrument cluster display.
FLUORESCENT LIGHT: Displays 0 to 100%. The fluorescent light level of the instrument cluster.
FUEL LEVEL: DISPLAYS 0 to 70 L (0 to 18.5 gal). The PCM monitors the fuel level sensor and sends the fuel level to the instrument cluster via class 2 serial data message. The instrument cluster displays the proportional fuel level and when fuel level is less than 11.4 L (3 gal), the instrument cluster displays the FUEL LEVEL LOW message on the DIC and requests a single pulse chime.
IGNITION 1: Displays Off or On. The status of the discrete ignition positive voltage signal.
IMS: Displays PARK, REVERSE, NEUTRAL, DRIVE 4, DRIVE 3, DRIVE 2, DRIVE 1 OR INVALID. If a valid combination of inputs is not received by the PCM, INVALID will be displayed. This display is the decoded status of the four A/B/C/P inputs from the automatic transmission internal mode switch. If a valid combination of inputs is not received by the PCM, INVALID will be displayed.
INFO. RESET SWITCH: Displays off or On. The status of the discrete INFO RESET switch signal. The instrument cluster uses this input to determine when to reset the vehicle information parameter currently displayed.
INFORMATION DOWN SWITCH: Displays Off or On. The status of the discrete INFO Down switch signal. The instrument cluster uses this input to determine which vehicle information parameter to display next.
INFORMATION UP SWITCH: Displays Off or On. The status of the discrete INFO Up switch signal. The instrument cluster uses this input to determine which vehicle information parameter to display next.
JULIAN DATE OF BUILD: Displays year and day. The first digit indicates the last digit of the year that the control module was built. The remaining 3 digits indicate the day of the year that the control module was built.
KEY IN IGNITION: Displays Yes or No. The IPM monitors the status of the discrete key-in-ignition switch signal of the ignition switch. When the ignition is OFF, the driver's door is open, and the key is in the ignition, a medium rate multiple pulse chime sounds.
LEFT TURN SIGNAL: Displays Off or On. The status of the discrete left turn signal. The instrument cluster uses this input to determine when to flash the left turn indicator.
