License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Remove the rear compartment trim.
3. Remove the backup lamp assembly.
4. Push on the right side of the license lamp and release the locking tab.
5. Allow the lamp to drop down from the body opening.




6. Disconnect the electrical connector.




7. Remove the bulb from the socket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the license lamp bulb into socket.




2. Connect the electrical connector.




3. Install the license lamp by inserting the left side of the lamp, then the right side. Press in the lamp until the tab locks.
4. Install the rear compartment trim.
5. Close the rear compartment.
