Accelerator Controls Cable Bracket Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the cruise control cable (2) from the accelerator controls cable bracket (1).
2. Disconnect the accelerator cable (3) from the accelerator controls cable bracket (1).




3. Disconnect the fuel feed (3) and fuel return (2) fuel pipes from the retainer (1).




4. Disconnect the transaxle vent hose clip (2) from the accelerator controls cable bracket (1).




5. Remove the bolts (2) from the accelerator controls cable bracket (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the accelerator controls cable bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).




2. Connect the fuel feed (3) and fuel return (2) fuel pipes to the retainer (1).




3. Connect the transaxle vent hose clip (2) to the accelerator controls cable bracket (1).




4. Connect the cruise control cable (2) from the accelerator controls cable bracket (1).
5. Connect the accelerator controls cable (3) from the accelerator controls cable bracket (1).
