Seat Belt Tower (W/O A45)

When the seat switch is operated to move the belt tower to the up position, battery positive voltage (B+) is applied via the belt tower switch contacts and the belt tower up circuit to the belt tower motor. The motor is grounded via the belt tower down circuit and the belt tower down switch contacts to ground. The motor runs in order to drive the belt tower up until the switch is released. Moving the belt tower down works similarly to moving the belt tower up except that battery positive voltage (B+) and ground are on opposite circuits causing the motor to run in the apposite direction. For operation of the entire seat Refer to Power Seats Circuit Description in Seats.
