Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair
INSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Refer to SIR Service Precautions Caution in Service Precautions.
1. Remove the Left Closeout Insulator Panel.
2. Remove the Left Knee Bolster bracket.
3. Disconnect the inside temperature sensor (1) electrical connector.
4. Remove the fastener (2) from the inside temperature sensor.
5. Remove the Inside Air Temperature Sensor (1) from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the inside temperature sensor (1) to the IP.
2. Install the inside temperature sensor (1) fastener (2).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Tighten the fastener (2)
Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
4. Connect the inside temperature sensor (1) electrical connector.
5. Install the Left Knee Bolster bracket.
6. Install the Left Closeout Insulator Panel.
