Some owners may comment about hot brake roughness that is characterized by front end shake and steering wheel vibration during a brake application. This condition typically occurs during long downhill descents when the brakes are applied often and the brake pads reach high temperatures.

Correction

This condition may be minimized by replacing the existing front brake pads with new pads contained in service kit, P/N 88950732, that have a new lining material. Refer to the Disc Brakes sub-section in the appropriate Service Manual.
