Squeaks and Rattles

Improperly controlled relative motion between components causes squeaks and rattles. Refer to the following list in order to prevent squeak and rattles:

* Attach the components securely so there is no relative motion during operation.
* Separate the components so there is no contact under operating conditions.
* Insulate the components so no sound occurs with relative motion between components. Low uniform friction surfaces can be provided in order to eliminate a stick-slip motion.
