Line Pressure Adapter and Gage Installation

- J21867-94 Line Pressure Adapter Kit
- J21867-100 Pressure Gauge Adapter
1. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
2. Raise the vehicle and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





3. Remove the Line Pressure Plug.





4. Install J21867-100 using a ratchet box wrench. Tighten the adapter so that the insert hole for the dowel rod is in a 1 o'clock position.
5. Lower the vehicle.





6. Install the dowel rod from J21867-94.





7. Attach a line pressure gauge and hose to the dowel rod fitting.
8. Secure the hose in a safe position to avoid damage to the tools and vehicle during the line pressure testing.
9. When you have completed the testing procedure, remove the line pressure gauge and hose from the dowel rod fitting.
10. Remove the dowel rod.
11. Raise the vehicle and suitably support the vehicle.
12. Remove J21867-100 using a ratchet box wrench.
13. Install the line pressure plug.
14. Lower the vehicle.
15. Install the air cleaner assembly.
