Onstar (R) GPS Antenna Replacement




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear shelf trim panel.
2. Remove the seat back trim.
3. Remove the module bracket fasteners.
4. Lower the module bracket to the rear compartment floor.
5. Disconnect the Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna coaxial cable connector.
6. Disengage the retainers (2) from the cable and the antenna base.
7. Slide the locating tab on the antenna from the rear shelf.
8. Remove the (GPS) antenna (1) from the rear shelf.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the (GPS) antenna tab into the slot in the rear shelf.
2. Secure the (GPS) antenna to the rear shelf with a retainer.
3. Secure the cable to the rear shelf with a retainer (2).
4. Install the rear shelf trim panel.
5. Install the module bracket assembly to the seat back panel.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notices in Service Precautions.

6. Install the fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (89 lb in).

7. Install the seat back trim.
8. Close the rear compartment lid.
