Front Air Deflector Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.




2. Remove the push-pin fasteners securing the front air deflector to the lower fascia.
3. Remove the push-in retainers securing the air deflector to the front fender extensions.
4. Cut the tie straps securing the air deflector to both energy absorber units.
5. Remove the front air deflector.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the front air deflector to the lower front fascia.
2. Install the push-pin retainers in order to retain the front air deflector to the lower front fascia.
3. Install the push-in retainers securing the air deflector to the front fender extensions.
4. Secure the outer edges of the air deflector to the energy absorber units with new tie straps.
5. Lower the vehicle.
