29. Oil Pan Removal

1. Rotate the engine so that the oil pan is facing up.





2. Remove the oil pan bolts.
3. Lift the oil pan from the lower crankcase.





4. Remove the oil pump pickup tube retaining nut (2) from the main bearing stud.
5. Remove the retaining bolt (4) from the oil manifold plate.
6. Remove the oil pump pickup tube (1).
7. Remove oil pump tube O-ring (3).





8. Remove the oil level sensor (1).
