Self-Diagnostics - HVAC System - Automatic

Self-Diagnostics:

The following components contain self-diagnostics:
^ The heater and A/C programmer
^ The Climate Control Panel (CCP)

When these self-diagnostics are accessed by the on-board diagnostics or by the use of a Scan Tool, the self-diagnostics will identity the source of any system malfunction as specifically as possible. This identification will differentiate between current type or non-current (history) type malfunctions.

The on-board diagnostics will only allow the following functions:
^ Viewing the DTCs
^ Clearing of the DTCs

Use the Scan Tool to perform any tests or overrides. The following A/C diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) will assist with the diagnosis:
