BATTERY VOLTS

The battery voltage parameter is displayed by pressing the INFO button until the BATTERY VOLTS message is displayed. The parameter has a range from 9.0-16.2 V. The IPC monitors the controlled power circuit in order to determine the parameter value. This battery voltage may be different than the voltage measured at the battery. This message may be suppressed by using the override option E. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic System.

The voltage at the IPC controlled power input and the displayed value will differ. The displayed value is 0.2-0.8 V higher due to filtering and offsets.
