Brake Fluid Level

The brake fluid level switch closes when the brake fluid level in the master cylinder is low. When the ignition switch is in the RUN position, the IPC detects a low voltage condition on IPC connector C2, terminal A11, CKT 849 (PNK).

The IPC illuminates the BRAKE indicator. The LOW BRAKE FLUID message will be displayed on the driver information center. If the IPC detects a voltage greater than 4.0 V on the circuit, the IPC illuminates the BRAKE indicator. A SERVICE BRAKE FLUID SWITCH will be displayed with a DTC C1210 set.
