Courtesy Lamp: Description and Operation

The courtesy lamps can be manually turned on or off by placing the interior lamp switch in the ON or OFF position.When the ambient light sensor indicates nighttime conditions, and a door is opened, all courtesy lamps turn on.After all doors are closed, the courtesy lamps will remain on for approximately 20 seconds.The courtesy lamps will dim to off, if the ignition switch is turned to the ON position, or an all door lock command is received with all doors closed.
