Tail Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment trim
3. Remove the nuts (1) securing the tail lamp (2).
4. Disconnect the bulb sockets (4).
5. Remove the push-in fasteners.
4. Remove the tail lamp (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Partially install the tail lamp
2. Connect the bulb sockets (4).
3. Position the lamp (2) to the quarter panel.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notices in Service Precautions

4. Install the nuts (1) securing the tail lamp (2).

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 4.5 N. m (41 lb in).

5. Install the push-in retainers.
4. Install the rear compartment trim.
