Radiator Hose Replacement - Inlet

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Remove the front air deflector shield. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement - Front.
4. Drain the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
5. Lower the vehicle.





6. Remove the radiator inlet hose (1) from the radiator.
7. Remove the radiator inlet hose (1) from the engine.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the radiator inlet hose (1) to the engine.
2. Install the radiator inlet hose (1) to the radiator.
3. Install the front air deflector shield. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement - Front.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. Start the engine.
8. Check for leaks.
