Turn Signal Cancel Cam & Upper Bearing Inner Race - Assemble

Assembly Procedure

- Tools Required
- J 23653-SIR Lock Plate Compressor





1. Lubricate the inner race (2) with synthetic grease.
2. Install the inner race (2).
3. Install the upper bearing inner race seat (1).





4. Install the upper bearing spring (3).
5. Lubricate the turn signal cancel cam assembly (2) with grease kit 26001884.
6. Install the turn signal cancel cam assembly (2).
7. Install the shaft lock (1).





8. Install the wave washer.





9. Install the new bearing retainer (1) using J 23653-SIR.
10. Install the SIR coil assembly. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil - Assemble - Off Vehicle.
