Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assemblies. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
3. Remove both link lower bolts.
4. Remove both link upper nuts.
5. Remove the stabilizer brackets.
6. Remove the insulators from the stabilizer shaft.
7. Lower the exhaust system at the rear. Support the exhaust system.
8. Remove the stabilizer shaft from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the stabilizer shaft into the vehicle.
2. Raise the exhaust system back into place.
3. Install the insulators to the stabilizer shaft.
4. Install the stabilizer brackets.
5. Install the link upper nut to both sides.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

6. Install the link lower bolt to both sides.
- Tighten the upper link nut to 52 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).
- Tighten the lower link bolt to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
- Tighten the stabilizer bracket bolt to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
7. Install the tire and wheel assemblies. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
8. Lower the vehicle.
