Mirror Replacement - Power Mirror

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the door frame garnish molding.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
4. Remove the three nuts (3).
5. Disconnect the wire harness from the retainer clip and unseat the grommet.
6. Route the wiring harness through the hole in the mirror patch.
7. Remove the mirror (1) from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Route the mirror wiring harness through the hole in the mirror patch.
2. Install the mirror (1) into the door frame.
3. Align the studs through the holes in the mirror patch.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the three nuts in sequence.

Tighten
Tighten the mirror nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
^ Top nut
^ Forward nut
^ Rear nut

5. Install the grommet by gently pulling into place.
6. Connect the electrical connectors.
7. Install harness into retainer clip.
8. Install the door frame garnish molding.
9. Install the door trim panel.
