Scan Tool Data Definitions

2nd to Last Alarm Cause: The scan tool displays the 2nd to last cause of the Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) alarm condition.

3rd to Last Alarm Cause: The scan tool displays the 3rd to last cause of the CTD alarm condition.

4th to Last Alarm Cause: The scan tool displays the 4th to last cause of the CTD alarm condition.

5th to Last Alarm Cause: The scan tool displays the 5th to last cause of the CTD alarm condition.

6th to Last Alarm Cause: The scan tool displays the 6th to last cause of the CTD alarm condition.

7th to Last Alarm Cause: The scan tool displays the 7th to last cause of the CTD alarm condition.

8th to Last Alarm Cause: The scan tool displays the 8th to last cause of the CTD alarm condition.

Display Key Cylinder Number: The scan tool displays the key cylinder number.

Display VIN: The scan tool displays the VIN of the vehicle.

Door Jamb Switch: The scan tool displays On/Off. The scan tool displays On when any of the vehicle doors is opened.

Door Unlock Output: The scan tool displays Active/Inactive showing the status of the Door Unlock Relay Control.

Driver Unlock Output: The scan tool displays Active/Inactive showing the status of the Driver Door Unlock Relay Control.

Engine Request: The scan tool displays the current status of the engine request.

Erase Transponder-Keys: The scan tool enables you to erase the currently programmed transponder-keys.

Exterior Lamp Output: The scan tool displays Active/Inactive showing the status of the Exterior Lamp Power supply to the Low Beam and Park Lamp relays.

Horn Output: The scan tool displays Active/Inactive showing the status of the Horn Relay Control.

Ignition Status: The scan tool displays the ignition switch status. An example would be Run. Run is displayed when the ignition switch is on but not cranking.

Immobilizer Relay Output Test: The scan tool displays the current status of the immobilizer relay output test.

Key Disarm Input: The scan tool displays On/Off. The scan tool will display On when the Key Disarm switch has been activated.

Key In ignition: The scan tool displays Yes/No to show if the key is in the ignition switch.

Last Alarm Cause: The scan tool displays the last cause of the Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) alarm condition.

MIL: The scan tool displays the commanded state of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL).

Program Engine Type: The scan tool enables you to program the Engine Type.

Program Immobilizer: The scan tool enables you to program the immobilizer.

Program Key Cylinder Number: The scan tool enables you to program the key cylinder.

Program Transponder-Key: The scan tool enables you to program the transponder-key.

Program VIN: The scan tool enables you to program the VIN.

Security Lamp Output: The scan tool displays Active/Inactive showing the status of the Security Indicator Control.

Security Wait Time: The scan tool displays the current time remaining for the security wait timer.

Theft Deterrent: The scan tool displays Off/Idle/Disarm/Ready/Arm Initiate/Arm Delay/Armed/Alarm showing the status for the Content Theft Deterrent System.

Theft Deterrent Status: The Scan tool displays Correct Code/Incorrect Code/No Immobilizer showing the current status of the immobilizer key.

Transponder-Key: The scan tool displays the transponder key status.

Transponder Key 1 Status: The scan tool displays the transponder key status.

Transponder Key 2 Status: The scan tool displays the transponder key status.

Transponder Key 3 Status: The scan tool displays the transponder key status.

Transponder Key 4 Status: The scan tool displays the transponder key status.

Transponder Key 5 Status: The scan tool displays the transponder key status.
