RADIO REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the I/P accessory trim plate.
2. Remove the screws that retain the radio to the I/P center support bracket.
3. Pull out the radio from the center support bracket leaving enough space to access the connectors at rear of the radio.
4. Disconnect antenna cable connectors (3) from the radio (1).
5. Disconnect the electrical wire harness (2) from the radio (1).
6. Remove the radio (1) from the I/P center support bracket.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Begin to install the radio to the center support bracket leaving enough space to access the connectors at rear of the radio.
2. Connect the electrical wire harness (2) to the radio (1).
3. Connect antenna cable connectors (3) to the radio (1).
4. Install the radio into position in the I/P center support bracket.
5. Align the radio locator tab into the locator hole in the center support bracket.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
6. Install the radio screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
7. Install the I/P accessory trim plate.
