Pressure Relief Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Service and Repair) in Bumpers.
2. Open the rear compartment stowage/CD player door (3).




3. Remove the rear quarter relief valve:

* Push in the clips.
* Remove the valve through the exterior of the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear quarter relief valve:

* Install the valve with the rubber flaps facing downward in order to prevent water intrusion.
* Inspect that the tabs are fully seated.




2. Close the rear compartment stowage/CD player door (3).
3. Install the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Service and Repair) in Bumpers.
