Rear Door Removal and Replacement
TOOLS REQUIREDJ 42801 Door Hinge Pin Remover and Installer
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Tape the edge of the door and the fender.
2. Remove the rubber conduit from lower center pillar.
3. Disconnect all wiring harness connectors.
4. Remove the wiring harness from the center pillar.
5. Brace the door with a suitable support.
6. Remove the hinge pins using J42801.
7. Remove the check link.
8. Remove the door with an assistant.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the door with an assistant.
2. Install the check link.
3. Install the hinge pins using J42801.
4. Remove the support.
5. Inspect the door alignment to the body.
6. Connect all wiring harness connectors. Install the wiring harness on the center pillar.
7. Install the rubber conduit to lower center pillar to door.
8. Remove the tape from the edge of the door and the fender.
