Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the fuel filler door.
2. Remove the screws from the fuel tank filler door (2).
3. Remove the fuel tank filler door (2).
4. Remove the screws (4) from the fuel tank filler door latch plate (5).
5. Remove the fuel tank filler door latch plate (5).
6. Remove the seal (1) from the fuel tank filler door (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the seal (1) to the fuel tank filler door (2).
2. Install the fuel tank filler door latch plate (5).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the screws (4) to the fuel tank filler door latch plate (5).

Tighten the fuel tank filler door latch plate screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).

4. Install the fuel tank filler door (2).
5. Install the screws to the fuel tank filler door (2).

Tighten the fuel tank filler door screws to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

6. Close the fuel filler door.
