Front Floor Console Armrest Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Place the front bucket seats in the forward position to gain access to the armrest bolts.
2. Remove the armrest bolts from the center floor console.
3. Remove the armrest from the center floor console by lifting the armrest in an upward motion.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the accessories on the cigarette lighter bezel.




5. With a flat-bladed tool remove the center rear floor outlets from the armrest, if required.




6. With a flat-bladed tool remove the cigarette lighter bezel from the armrest, if required.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the retaining tabs for the cigarette lighter bezel to the armrest, if required.
Press the bezel into the armrest until retaining tabs are fully seated.




2. Align the center rear floor outlets to the opening in the armrest, if required.
Press the outlets into the armrest until retaining tabs are fully seated.




3. Connect the electrical connectors to the accessories on the cigarette lighter bezel.
4. Align the armrest to the center floor console.
Position the hooks at the bottom of the cigarette lighter bezel behind the edge of the floor console, while pressing the armrest into place.

Notice: Refer to in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the armrest bolts to the center floor console.

Tighten the bolts to 3 Nm (27 lb in).

6. Return the front bucket seats to their original position.
