Rear Door Lock Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement. Service and Repair
2. Remove the door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement (Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement).




4. Remove all the rods that attach to the lock assembly.
5. Remove the rear door lock actuator electrical connector.
6. Remove the rear door lock screws.
7. Remove the door lock.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the rear door lock to the rear door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the rear door lock screws.

Tighten the rear door lock screws to 8 Nm (71 lb in).

3. Install the rear door lock actuator electrical connector.
4. Install all the rods that attach to the lock assembly.
5. Install the inside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement (Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement).
6. Install the door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement. Service and Repair
