Sunroof Actuator Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the sunroof switch selector knob by pulling knob in a downward motion.




2. Remove the potentiometer from the sunroof switch by releasing tabs (push inward).




3. Remove the dome lamp lens with a small flat-bladed tool.
Remove the dome lamp from the actuator cover with a small flat-bladed tool.




4. Remove the electrical connectors from the dome lamp.




5. Remove the screws from the actuator motor cover.




6. Remove the sunroof actuator motor cover, pull down and forward to release actuator motor cover from headliner.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the sunroof actuator motor cover to the headliner.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the screws to the sunroof actuator motor cover.

Tighten screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).




3. Install the electrical connectors to the dome lamp.




4. Install the dome lamp into the actuator cover and press until fully seated.
Install dome lamp lens to the dome lamp and press until fully seated.




5. Install the potentiometer to the sunroof switch.




6. Align selector knob with shaft for sunroof switch and press knob until fully seated.
