Sunroof Sliding Block Guide Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the sunroof actuator.
2. Remove the water gutter. Refer to Water Gutter Replacement (Water Gutter Replacement).
3. Remove the sunroof actuator cable stop screw from the cable stop.
4. Remove the sunroof actuator cable stop from the sunroof actuator.




5. Remove the slide and/or guide from the sunroof actuator.
The slide, cable, and guide will pull out from the end of the sunroof actuator.




6. Remove the spring from the slide and/or guide.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the spring to the slide and/or guide.




2. Install the slide and/or guide to the sunroof actuator.




3. Install the sunroof actuator stop to the sunroof actuator.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the sunroof actuator cable stop screw to the cable stop.

Tighten the sunroof actuator cable stop screw to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

5. Install the water gutter. Refer to Water Gutter Replacement (Water Gutter Replacement).
6. Install the sunroof actuator.
7. Adjust both cables with the slide and/or the guide. Refer to Slider Adjustment (Slider Adjustment).
