Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement (Left Front) (Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement (Left Front))Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement (Right Front) (Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement (Right Front)).





Important: Carefully remove the buttons from the seat adjuster control switch in order to prevent damage to the switch. Use a thin-bladed screwdriver to pry the buttons off.


2. Remove the seat adjustment buttons (1,2).
3. Remove the outer finish panel screw from the front seat cushion. The screw is located in the front of seat frame.
4. Remove the control switch screws from the seat adjuster.
5. Remove the outer finish panel from the front seat cushion.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the outer finish panel to the front seat cushion.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the control switch screws to the seat adjuster.

Tighten the control switch screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

3. Install the outer finish panel screw to the front seat cushion.

Tighten the panel screw to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

Important: Carefully install the buttons (1,2) to the control switch in order to prevent damage.


4. Install the seat adjustment buttons (1,2) by snapping on.
5. Install the front seat. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement (Left Front) (Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement (Left Front))Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement (Right Front) (Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement (Right Front)).
