Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Removal





1. Center punch the steel ring of the rear main oil seal.

Notice: Use caution when drilling the hole so as not to damage the engine components on the opposite side of the rear main oil seal.

2. Carefully drill a small, shallow, pilot hole into the steel ring of the rear main oil seal.
3. Screw in a self-tapping screw.
4. Use pliers to pull the rear main oil seal out.
