Defogger Outlet Duct Replacement - Side Window, RH

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the RF floor air outlet. Refer to Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Floor, RH.
2. Remove the IP compartment.
3. Remove the instrument panel SIR module.
4. Remove the IP wire harness clips from the IP carrier.
Reposition the IP wire harness.
5. Remove the SIR mounting bracket bolts.
6. Remove the SIR mounting bracket.




7. Bend downward at the accordion section of the duct to remove the duct from the side air vent.
8. Remove the defogger outlet duct from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the defogger outlet duct to the vehicle.
2. Insert the defogger outlet duct to the HVAC module.
Ensure the duct is fully seated to the HVAC module.
3. Bend at the accordion section to install the duct.
4. Reposition and install the IP wire harness clips to the IP carrier.




5. Install the SIR bracket.
6. Install the SIR bracket bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

7. Install the instrument panel SIR module.
8. Install the IP compartment.
9. Install the RF floor air outlet. Refer to Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Floor, RH.
