Door Switch: Service and Repair
DOOR JAMB SWITCH REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the door.
2. Remove the door jamb switch screw.
3. Remove the door jamb switch from the center pillar.
4. Disconnect the jamb switch connectors.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the door jamb switch electrical connectors. Position the door jamb switch to the center pillar.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the door jamb switch screw.
Tighten
Tighten the door jamb switch screw to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
3. Close the door.
