Headlamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the right and/or left air baffle.




3. Remove the headlamp bezel.




4. Remove the screws from headlamp capsule.




5. Disconnect the wire harness from the headlamp capsule. Disconnect the turn signal bulb socket from the headlamp capsule.




6. Remove the headlamp capsule from the vehicle.




7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp bulb.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector to the headlamp bulb.




2. Install the turn signal bulb socket to the headlamp capsule.
Connect the wire harness to the headlamp capsule.




3. Install the headlamp capsule into the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




4. Install the headlamp capsule screws to the headlamp capsule.

Tighten
Tighten the headlamp capsule screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the headlamp bezel.




6. Install the right and/or left air baffle.
7. Close the hood.
