Horn Switch Replacement - On Vehicle

Removal Procedure





1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in Restraint Systems.
3. Remove the horn switch from the steering wheel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the horn switch.

Installation Procedure





1. Connect the electrical connector to the horn switch.
2. Install the horn switch to the steering wheel.
3. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in Restraint Systems.
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
