P/S Pressure Hose Replacement
Power Steering Pressure Hose ReplacementRemoval Procedure
1. Place the drain pan under the vehicle.
2. Remove the power steering pressure line connection at the steering gear (1).
3. Remove the power steering pressure hose connection at the power steering pump (2).
4. Remove the power steering pressure hose.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the power steering pressure hose to the steering gear (1).
- Tighten the power steering pressure hose connection at the power steering gear to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the power steering pressure hose (2) with a new O-ring to the power steering pump.
- Tighten the gear inlet hose connection at the power steering pump to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
3. Bleed the power steering system.
