Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Drain the cooling system.
3. Remove the engine splash shield bolts and the engine splash shield.
4. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp from the radiator.





5. Remove the radiator outlet hose (1) from the radiator.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp from the coolant intake pipe.





8. Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the coolant intake pipe (4).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the radiator outlet hose (2) to the coolant intake pipe (4).
2. Install the radiator outlet hose clamp to the coolant intake pipe.
3. Raise the vehicle.





4. Install the radiator outlet hose (1) to the radiator.
5. Install the radiator outlet hose clamp to the radiator.
6. Install the engine splash shield.
7. Install the engine splash shield bolts.
Tighten the engine splash shield bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Fill the cooling system.
