Band Control Solenoid Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the transmission oil pan and oil filter.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid valve.
3. Remove the retaining pin (2). Use pliers to pull the pin out.
4. Remove the solenoid (1).
5. Remove the solenoid valve and the wave washer.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the solenoid valve (1) and the wave washer.
2. Install the retaining pin (2). Use a soft mallet to drive the pin in.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the solenoid valve.
4. Install the transmission oil filter and the transmission oil pan.
