Engine Coolant Gauge Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Partially drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the intake plenum.
3. Remove the intake manifold.





4. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sender (2) electrical connector.
5. Remove the engine coolant temperature sender (2).

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the engine coolant temperature sender (2).
Tighten the engine coolant temperature sender to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the engine coolant temperature sender (2) electrical connector.
3. Install the intake manifold.
4. Install the intake plenum.
5. Fill the cooling system.
