Hazard Warning Switch: Service and Repair

HAZARD WARNING SWITCH REPLACEMENT - ON VEHICLE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. With a flat-bladed tool gently pry or the hazard switch cover and remove from the hazard switch.




2. While depressing the tabs on the hazard switch pry the hazard switch in an outward motion. This will disengage the hazard switch from the electrical connector.
3. Remove the hazard switch from the IP accessory trim plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the hazard switch into accessory trim plate and push inward to engage the electrical connector until the locking tabs are fully seated.




2. Install the hazard switch cover to hazard switch by gently snapping into place.
